The two Nigerian representatives at the CAF Champions League are on the verge of knockout this weekend at the last 32 stage.

Two time winners Enyimba are facing Smouha of Egypt on Sunday in Alexandria with a a slim 1-0 lead lead while Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars pull off a remarkable comeback from a 4-0 away defeat in the hands of Moghreb Tetouan of Morocoo.

According to a BBC Sports report, Kadiri Ikhana, who coached Enyimba to 2003 Champions League glory, said he has a plan to combat the cold evening weather expected in Alexandria.

"Our preparations will include lots of running and I do not envisage the cold having a negative effect on us," he said.
