The legislative chamber was expected to screen three nominees today, October 20, but failed to interview Claudius Omoleye Daramola from Ondo State before adjourning.

Barrister Adebayo Shittu (Oyo) and Khadija Abba Ibrahim (Yobe) were screened today.

The Senate had initially scheduled eight nominees for screening but changed it to three at the last minute.

According to Senator Dino Melaye, who's the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Publicity, the legislative chamber has decided to reduce the number of nominees screened daily to ensure thorough screening.
