Britain’s most famous and controversial art critic, has died of cancer at age 84.

Brian died on Saturday 19, 2015 after being diagnosed with cancer last year.
He was severely unwell for the final month of his life having gone through strong course of radiotherapy and several successful surgeries it affected his ability to taste and talk.
The award-winning writer had been an art critic at the London Evening Standard for more than 30 years and won the Orwell Prize in 2003 for the column that he wrote for the paper.
Writers and fellow art critics have paid tribute to the critic on Twitter.
