Appeal Court sacks Abia Governor, orders swearing in of APGA candidate

A Court of Appeal in Abia has ordered the incumbent Governor of the state, Mr Okezie Ikpeazu, to vacate his seat as it declared the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Mr Alex Otti, thewinner of the State's Governorship election.

Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party was declared winner of the election held in April by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
