The fight card for the upcoming UFC event in Belgrade has undergone a last-minute change.
The elite MMA organization announced that Josias Musasa has withdrawn from his scheduled bantamweight bout against Mark Volodin this weekend. Stepping in as his replacement is BRAVE CF Bantamweight Champion, Borislav Nikolic, who will now face Volodin.
Volodin (12-4-2) is one of the few fighters to earn a contract with the organization despite a loss on the Contender Series, impressing Dana White. He even received an additional bonus from White for his fight against Adrian Luna Martinetti, which was hailed as a "Fight of the Year" contender for 2025. Volodin made his organizational debut in April, fighting to a draw with John Castaneda at UFC Winnipeg.
Nikolic (16-2) has spent the last few years competing in the BRAVE CF organization. He captured the bantamweight title last June and successfully defended it at BRAVE CF in November. Nikolic is currently on a six-fight winning streak and will make his UFC debut in his home country.
The main event for UFC Belgrade will feature a welterweight clash between Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez.
