This was disclosed on Thursday, August 13, 2015, by army spokesperson, Sani Usman, via a statement.

According to the statement, the free medical care will be given for three days, from August 12-14, and is meant for the internally displaced persons in the area.

“Already, personnel of Nigerian Army Medical Corps have been attending to numerous persons that turned up for the exercise,” Usman said.

The Boko Haram insurgency has left many dead and many more homeless in Nigeria’s troubled North-East.
