"Thank you for asking about that. Yes, he was the first person in my career who gave me a chance, who believed in me, who believed in my work ethic and how much I love and how much basketball means to me."

He stressed that their special bond stemmed precisely from that trust.

"It was a very sad day for all of us, for Partizan fans, for me, for my family. During that period, while I was there, he was like a part of the family, definitely a father figure."

"We'll miss him, he was different!"

Bogdanović added that Vujošević would be missed by everyone, not just as a coach, but as a man of unique character.

"We'll miss him as a person because he was different. He was truly special. As I wrote on Instagram, he cared about you as a person – he developed you as a human being."

Bogdan also revealed some of the methods Vujošević used to develop players off the court.

"He showed us other things too; he bought us books to read, simple books on psychology, motivation, discipline. He sent us to theaters, bought tickets for plays and museums. He was simply different. He always believed that athletes should be an example to the world and to young people, and that's why he acted that way."
