The highly anticipated middleweight clash between Bo Nickal and Joe Pyfer has a new date and location. Instead of taking place at the UFC's final pay-per-view card of 2026, the matchup will now headline a Fight Night event in early 2027.

During the UFC 332 broadcast earlier this month, the promotion officially announced that the two fighters would face each other at UFC 335 on December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. However, on Thursday night, while speaking on stage at a Vivek Ramaswamy political rally in Ohio, Nickal personally revealed that the bout has been moved.

"First and foremost, I got a call backstage and have some pretty exciting news," Nickal said. "My friend here just mentioned my fight in December, but it actually got moved to February, where I'll be in the main event in Cleveland. We're going there to run through this guy and then go get the belt."

Pyfer was quick to respond, taking to Instagram to fire back at his rival's comments.

"Bro talking about running through me," Pyfer wrote. "I'm going to take away your fake dreams. Poor kid vs. rich kid."

As of now, the promotion has yet to announce an exact date in February for the Cleveland card.

Pyfer heads into this pivotal showdown riding a four-fight winning streak, which includes a stunning knockout of Israel Adesanya in the main event of UFC Seattle in February.

Nickal, on the other hand, rebounded from his first career MMA defeat against Reinier de Ridder with back-to-back knockout victories, including a first-round finish over Kyle Daukaus at UFC White House.
