Beşiktaş dictated the pace in the first ten minutes. The Black and Whites missed only three shots from the field – one two-pointer, two three-pointers. Fenerbahçe, in contrast, attempted just nine shots, resulting in a 27:16 lead for the team coached by Serbian national team coach Dušan Alimpijević at the end of the opening quarter.

Then came a complete turnaround. The home team seized the initiative, outrebounded their opponents, and closed the gap. Beşiktaş's shooting faltered, hitting only one three-pointer out of eight attempts, leaving them with a narrow 43:42 lead at halftime.

Biberović found his rhythm in the second half, and Fener went on a run at the start of the third quarter, extending their lead to 51:43. However, Beşiktaş quickly responded, with Ugurlu's three-pointer restoring their advantage heading into the decisive final ten minutes.

Sarunas Jasikevičius's team tried to catch up, but the Black and Whites held firm. From 71:70, they surged to 77:70 with an Arslan three-pointer. Sanli then hit from long range, followed by Brown, making it 83:75. Beşiktaş comfortably closed out the game.

Ugurlu was the most efficient player for the winning side with 20 points, while Brown added 14. For Fenerbahçe, Baldwin and Biberović each scored 16.

Game two of the final series is scheduled for Monday, June 15th.
