Benjamin Mendy got a parking ticket in Manchester for parking illegally in front of the hotel he stays.

Mendy, a new signing from Monaco parked his Ferrari F12 F2X illegally outside The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel in the city centre.

The £52million left back is staying at the hotel and parked his car in a taxi rank for an hour.

Traffic wardens spotted the car parked illegally and wrote a £60 parking ticket.

Mendy was pictured checking out the ticket when he returned to his car clutching a bag of food from Nando's.

He removed the car from the taxi rank and re-parked, this time legally.

The 23-year-old French defender is currently out with a thigh strain which has prevented him from making his debut.

He would be hoping not to have any sort of problems on the pitch when he makes his expected return to action.

Mendy is expected to be fit for Manchester City’s trip to Bournemouth on Saturday, August 26.
