Baskonia's Swift Response: Luwawu-Cabarrot's Replacement Arrives in Vitoria

The Dominican Republic international has signed a two-year contract with Baskonia, shortly after Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot departed the club to join Real Madrid.

Duarte is coming off a notable season with Unicaja, where he averaged 9.5 points and three rebounds in the FIBA Champions League, playing just over 19 minutes per game. In the Spanish ACB League, he was even more effective, averaging 10.9 points and 2.8 assists in approximately 17 minutes on the court per contest.

The Dominican also brings significant NBA experience, having played for the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, and Chicago Bulls in the world's premier league. His rookie season was his most impressive, earning him a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

Before joining Unicaja, his first European team, he spent a season in Puerto Rico.
