The Milwaukee Bucks concluded their NBA season prematurely, missing the playoffs for the first time in a decade.
Days prior, a leaked locker room conversation involving then-Bucks coach Doc Rivers and his players had stirred considerable controversy.
Reacting to this incident, NBA legend and current ESPN analyst Charles Barkley offered a scathing critique of the Bucks' locker room dynamics.
Here's what Barkley had to say:
“The Bucks have some real scumbags in their locker room. Because if you're leaking what happens in team meetings to the media, you're a scumbag. What happens in the locker room is sacred. You might see fights, between players or between coaches and players, but none of that should ever reach the media. I consider it a despicable move for someone to leak Doc Rivers' words to the press.”
