Barcelona is already strategizing for the upcoming transfer window, aiming to bolster their attack with a central striker and a winger, reinforce their defense, and secure João Cancelo, as reported by "Mundo Deportivo."

The primary target for the number nine position remains Julián Álvarez, but his acquisition appears challenging. Atlético Madrid is focused on the Champions League semi-finals and isn't planning short-term transfers. Álvarez is the profile most admired by Barça, with an investment limit of around 100 million euros. The club is aware that Atlético values some of Barcelona's players – Marc Casadó and Ferran Torres have been mentioned – but any potential deal would also depend on the role of Apollo Global Management, which holds a stake in the club.

Should Barcelona push hard for the transfer, the price could become prohibitive, making the deal impossible and necessitating the activation of alternative options. In this scenario, names like Victor Osimhen and Dušan Vlahović raise doubts, although the Serbian could become a free agent. The latest name on the list is Alexander Sørloth.

In defense, the main target is Alessandro Bastoni (27). The Italian center-back is enthusiastic about the prospect of joining Barcelona and is willing to facilitate the transfer. Discussions between his camp and the club are progressing positively, according to "Mundo Deportivo," despite conflicting reports from Italy.

Regarding the winger position, the situation revolves around Marcus Rashford. The club needs to make a final decision on his signing, with the financial impact estimated at around 25 million euros per season (including salary and amortization). The buyout option is approximately 30 million.

In parallel, Barça is exploring other options – primarily young players with potential. Among them is Jan Virgili, a former club player for whom Barcelona retains 40% of the rights. There's also strong interest in Víctor Muñoz from Osasuna, but a potential deal is complicated as 50% of the transfer fee would go to Real Madrid, who also have the right to match any offer and block the transfer. Nevertheless, this option is not ruled out. The player has a release clause of 40 million euros.

Andreas Schjelderup, who impressed in the Champions League with Benfica, has also been added to the list. Barcelona has already inquired about the Norwegian, who could be acquired for around 30–40 million euros.

Another name on their radar is Abde Ezzalzouli (26), for whom Barcelona holds a buy-back option and 50% of any future sale from Betis.

Finally, João Cancelo's situation remains dependent on financial terms. The purchase option is around 15 million euros, but Barcelona prefers to sign him as a free agent or on a new loan. However, Al-Hilal aims to make a profit and might show interest in Barça players, including Casadó.
