Lamine Yamal is used to turning heads on the pitch, but the Barcelona youngster's flair also extends to the world of... fashion. The Spain international has launched his first exclusive collection in collaboration with American Eagle, in a campaign that brought street art to the heart of Barcelona.
The American Eagle x Lamine Yamal collection features 29 pieces and was unveiled during a 48-hour takeover across various venues in the Catalan city. The US brand hosted clothing customisation workshops and commissioned a 21-metre mural dedicated to the winger, created by the artist TV Boy.
The highlight of the event took place at Moll de la Marina beach, where Yamal made a surprise appearance at the American Eagle Beach Club alongside his girlfriend, Ines García.
The Barcelona forward even stepped up to judge a rap battle in front of hundreds of attendees.
"It's really special to see my collection with American Eagle come to life here in Barcelona, and to see people make the pieces their own," said the player, who makes no secret of his passion for fashion. "It's something I've always loved, and this collection reflects who I am and how I like to dress. Being able to share it with my city makes it all the more special," he added.
The collection is now available on the brand's European online store, opening a new chapter in Yamal's journey — this time away from the pitch, but still firmly under the spotlight.
