USA '94 hero Krassimir Balakov hosted another football night at his "Casa Bala" restaurant in Sofia. Dozens of guests gathered at the legendary playmaker's establishment to sample the menu's delights while watching the Argentina vs. Egypt Round of 16 match from the 2026 World Cup.
Among the guests were two former national team players – Blagoy Georgiev and Georgi Sarmov. The trio, including Krasi, couldn't believe their eyes when Lionel Messi missed a penalty in the first half.
This evening's soirée at "Casa Bala" also featured games, entertainment, and prizes. Interestingly, the Pharaohs' early goal knocked Blago and Sarmov out of the accurate score prediction contest – the former national team players had bet on a clear victory for the Argentinians.
