After his debut for Chelsea in their 4-0 UEFA Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv, Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman is looking to feature more in Jose Mourinho's plan.

The 21-year-old joined the English Premier League defending champions in the last transfer window from Bundesliga side Augusburg.

"I'm hoping to play very, very often - my main aim is to play as many games as I can here," Rahman said in an interview with BBC Sport.

The Ghanaian international defender was congratulated by former Chelsea midfielder, .

He also revealed that he was encouraged by the veteran midfielder and Christian Atsu who also played for Chelsea.

"They gave me some top lines of advice and told me that I if push hard I can make it through," he said.

"I'm really working hard to keep the momentum going."
