"With a lot of my songs, I cant really point out where the inspiration is from, until Im done with the first draft. I realised "Vanity" was taken from a verse from my favourite books in the bible, Ecclesiastes."

London based British-Nigerian artiste, Davina Oriakhi, aptly described as a musically fluid lyricist writing songs about life, love and spirituality, is a soulful and versatile singer-songwriter and poet.

Her influences range from Lauryn Hill to Alicia Keys and Sade to Erykah Badu.

On 'Vanity', she teams up with Preyé, who is a Nigerian Soul artist based in Canada, known for her impressive, dynamic and enchanting vocals in addition to her soothing poetic song writing style.

'Vanity" produced by Gabriel Ryder is a 90's R&B/Soul influenced duet written and performed by Davina Oriakhi and Preyé, whose voices mesh beautifully as they lament over the meaningless chase for material possessions and fickle pleasures.
