Unchanged England bowl in the fifth Ashes Test at The Oval

England captain Alastair Cook opted to throw Australia's batsmen back into the firing line after winning the toss and electing to field first in the fifth Ashes Test at The Oval.

The tourists were bowled out for only 60 in their first innings at Trent Bridge as England moved 3-1 ahead to regain the little urn with one game to play, and their top order struggled again in their latest tour match against Northamptonshire.

Cook will hope that continues as England - who have never won four Tests in a home Ashes series - bowl first on Thursday.

England are unchanged after James Anderson failed to recover in time from his side strain.

Australia made two changes to their side as Michael Clarke and Chris Rogers look to bow out on a winning note.

Experienced seamer Peter Siddle was handed a recall ahead of Pat Cummins, the 30-year-old given his first Test appearance since he faced India in Adelaide last December.

Cummins had been expected to get the nod in Australia's attack after Josh Hazlewood was ruled out due to "niggling" injury problems, but instead it will be Siddle " who has 192 Test wickets to his name - who Clarke will have at his disposal.

Australia's second change sees Mitchell Marsh come back in for his brother Shaun, who had replaced his younger sibling in the fourth Test.
