Premier League giants Arsenal on Thursday, December 9 dropped a remake of their 1993/94 season away jersey.
The Gunners previously dropped a remake of an Adidas kit replica from the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.
This new kit takes inspiration from the 1993/94 season. It is a remake of the away jersey of when the Gunners won the Cup Winners' Cup.
Ian Wright was part of the 1993/94 team and was included in the unveiling of the new kit.
Speaking to the Arsenal website, Wright said, “I have amazing memories of playing in the Adidas EQT jersey during the 93/94 season, and it’s great to celebrate that era with such a full and proper collection.
“The range has got all the classics and we had a good time on set playing our different roles.
"I even had to remind some of the first-team lads and women that we won the Cup Winners Cup that season so now that this is back, we have to win something!”
The new kit was modeled by Arsenal first-team stars Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith-Rowe, and Kieran Tierney.
The Arsenal women will be the first to show off the new kit when they take on Barcelona Femeni in a UEFA Women's Champions League group stage fixture.
The Arsenal first team will wear the new kit in their warm-up for their next Premier League fixture against Southampton scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 2021.
