Arsenal Manager Calms Tensions Ahead of Brighton Clash: "That's in the Past"

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has assured the public that there is no bad blood between him and Brighton coach Fabian Hürzeler.

Both clubs are set to clash on Saturday in their Premier League Matchday 5 fixture. Back in March, following their last encounter, the German coach accused his opponent's team of unsportsmanlike conduct.

After a 1-0 defeat in the previous season, Hürzeler claimed that Arsenal was making up its own rules and didn't want to play football. His comments primarily targeted repeated medical treatments for goalkeeper David Raya, which he viewed as time-wasting tactics.

"That's in the past. I have respect for Fabian and what he's achieved with Brighton. I'm sure our teams will play a fantastic match," Arteta stated, as reported by DPA.

Should Arsenal secure a victory in the south of England, it would mark their eighth consecutive win across all competitions this season. This would represent the club's best start to a new campaign in its 123-year history.
