MFK Zemplín Michalovce has strengthened its squad with 21-year-old English central midfielder Tommy Pilling, who joins from Premier League giants Liverpool FC. This information has been reported by several sources close to England's most successful club, as well as by transfermarkt.com.

Pilling never featured for "The Reds'" senior squad, but last season, under Arne Slot, he was on the bench for League Cup clashes against Crystal Palace and Southampton.

A Liverpool academy product, Pilling joined the club's youth system at the age of five. He is a native of St. Helens, a town on the outskirts of the port city.

He played a total of 126 matches for the Anfield club across the U18, U21, and younger age categories. According to Transfermarkt, he has signed with Zemplín until the summer of 2029.
