Armani Dreams of NBA Reinforcement That Could Shake Up the EuroLeague

Armani is set to finish this EuroLeague season in a disappointing 14th place, despite a roster that, for years, has appeared stronger than their league standing suggests.

As they look ahead, the Milanese club is already working on new projects. Whispers suggest Tyler Dorsey and Nikola Milutinov could once again be on their radar. However, current reports from Italy point to an even bigger name.

Indeed, a major NBA star might be making the move to the fashion capital.

"Olimpia Milano is working to make an NBA dream come true: Fontecchio could arrive if..." reads a headline from Italy's Gazzetta.

For this dream to materialize, several pieces must fall into place. Specifically, Simone Fontecchio would need to not receive a suitable offer from the Miami Heat or any other NBA team.

Fontecchio becomes a free agent this summer, and his priority is to remain in the NBA. While no European club can match an 8 million euro gross annual salary, Armani is banking on the allure of the Milan lifestyle to sway him.
