Record label is a year old [Video]

On June 12, 2015, to be precise, businessman/philanthropist Shina Peller, who chairs the Aquila Group decided to venture further into the entertainment industry following the massive success of his critically acclaimed Quilox brand, by signing up artistes and floating a record label.

In his words, “I wanted to create a brand that is solely designed to help young talented Nigerians develop and showcase their talent to the world”.

Today, Aquila Records has firmly established itself on the Nigerian entertainment scene, with all three of her signed artistes; Tilla, Base One and Que Peller scoring success on their respective projects in the one year period that the label has been in existence.

“A dream you dream alone is only a dream, but a dream you dream together is a reality”, Mr. Shina Peller is quoted from a caption on his Instagram page, as he stresses the importance of togetherness and acknowledges the contributions of everyone who has been there for the label in  one way or the other.

The quote continues, “I believe even more now than ever, that with the level of passion and dedication we put in, Aquila Records will not only continue to surpass expectations, we are here to dominate for a very long time.”

“Congratulations to all of us who have made this possible. TeamAquila for ever! AquilaRecordsAtOne.”

“Happy One Year Anniversary!” the caption concludes.

The label presents a short video sharing some of the progress it’s made so far, as they look forward to even bigger strides in the coming years.
