The Serbian athlete expressed disappointment after her performance in Birmingham last week, where she concluded the final with a clearance of 1.88 meters.
However, she quickly bounced back, competing this weekend at the Diamond League meeting in Poland.
She successfully cleared 1.84m and 1.89m on her first attempts. She needed a second jump to get over 1.93m, but then effortlessly soared over 1.96m on her first try.
Unfortunately, she failed to clear 1.98m after three attempts.
This result placed her fifth in the competition, behind Nicola Olyslagers.
The Australian also finished with a clearance of 1.98m, but crucially, she had cleared 1.93m on her first attempt – a height where Angelina faced some difficulty.
Victory went to European champion Yaroslava Mahuchikh. The Ukrainian cleared 2.00m on her third attempt, matching the meeting record and distinguishing herself from her rivals.
Iryna Gerashchenko secured second place, achieving her season's best with a first-attempt clearance of 1.98m.
Eleanor Patterson also made it to the podium, clearing 1.98m on her second attempt.
