The Arsenal star was in the Super Eagles camp with his dad in Uyo ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) clash against South Africa in June.

Iwobi is heading to Nigeria in fine form after scoring in Arsenal’s 2-0 home win over Brighton on Sunday, October 1.

The midfielder fired past Brighton goalkeeper after receiving a back-heel pass from Alexis Sanchez to double Arsenal’s lead in the game.

This is also a return to the Super Eagles for Iwobi who missed the doubleheader against Cameroon because of an injury.

Iwobi has 10 Super Eagles caps.
