Aleksander Dziewa Renews with Benfica Until 2028

Center Aleksander Dziewa has extended his contract with Benfica, signing a new deal that will keep him with the Eagles until 2028.

The Polish international expressed his satisfaction at remaining in Lisbon. "I'm very excited to be here, to continue in Lisbon, at Benfica, because this is a very professional club. I have nothing negative to say, only good feelings," Dziewa stated.

Back in training under the guidance of Ainars Bagatskis, the Polish player highlighted the intensity of the pre-season preparations and set winning the Liga Betclic as the primary objective.

"We've been training hard and we'll continue to do so until the end of the season. That's what we want: to win the championship," the center emphasized.

"From me, you can expect a fight in every game, in every competition. I hope that, at the end of the season, we will be happier than last season and that we can win everything we can. Everything we can win, we will win," he guaranteed.
