Many Senators also took turns to pay tribute to the late politician who died on Saturday, Saturday, October 10.

The Nigerian Senate, during its plenary session today, October 20, 2015, debated a Motion on the death of former Bayelsa State Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha.

Some Nigerians however saw the eulogies as inappropriate due to the fact that Alamieyeseigha was a convicted money launderer before his death.
