Nigerian forward
Musa last week completed his move to Premier League champions, Leicester City and Ranieri is happy to have gotten a player of his type.
The 23-year-old is currently with his new teammates at a training camp in Austria and Ranieri is looking forward to what the Super Eagles forward has to bring to his team.
“Musa can bring his speed, I don't know if he's as quick as Jamie Vardy, but he has lots of speed,” Ranieri said in an interview with Leicester City official website.
“It's very important to have another airplane in our squad. Remember, we are the RAF and we've signed one of them!'
Musa and teammates arrived in Austria on Tuesday, July 12 and they immediately got down to training as they prepare to defend their Premier league crown.
The Super Eagles assistant captain and the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Danny Simpson, and club captain Wes Morgan all took part in a training session at the Stegersbach Training Facility.
Musa wasn’t the only new signing at the pre-season training camp. Ron-Robert Zieler, Luis Hernandez and Nampalys Mendy all took part in grueling exercises.
