Shakes Mashaba dreams of leading the Bafana Bafana of South Africa to the final of the African Cup of Nations, 16 years after it lost 2-0 to Egypt in Burkina Faso 98

Victorious coach of the South African national football team, Ephraim ‘Shakes’ Mashaba has hinted the team’s next plan and it is not to make up the numbers in Equatorial Guinea 2015.

Mashaba dreams to shake the tournament by reaching the final once again since they last did in Burkina Faso 1998 but lost to winners Egypt, and possibly win it.

Mashaba said in an interview with Goal after his team denied Nigeria a title defence opportunity with the 2-2 draw on Wednesday at the Akwa Ibom international stadium.

Nigeria failed to qualify for the tournament again after it missed out of a place in Equatorial Guinea 2012.
