The spokesman for the party in the state, Sulyman Buhari, was said to have confirmed the incident on Friday, May 20.

According to him, the victims were abducted on Friday morning at the Abuja-Lokoja highway while returning to Ilorin from Abuja.

The APC in the state has called on the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, to ensure the rescue of the party leaders.

The party also urged other security agencies in the country to deploy all within their powers to ensure the safe return of the victims.
