Chad’s President has more to say about Boko Haram leader

Chad's President, Idriss Deby has reportedly said that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau is wounded and not dead as widely believed.

The Chadian President made the comments on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in N’djamena, Reuters reports.

"We have decapitated Boko Haram. Our defense and security forces have recaptured their arms, which did so much damage,” Deby said.

He said further that Shekau’s replacement is a man named Mahamat Daoud who is willing to negotiate with the Nigerian government.
