The Super Eagles of Nigeria have converged for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against South Africa on Saturday, November 17 and a friendly game against Uganda on Tuesday, November 20.

Ahead of the fixtures, camp in Asaba opened on Monday, November 12 and as at Tuesday, all but one Samuel Kalu were already in camp.

The 22 players available took part in their first training session ahead of the game against South Africa. The training session held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.

The Super Eagles also received a visitor in Delta State Governor undefined ($25000) for every goal scored against South Africa on Saturday.

The Super Eagles will hold another closed training session on Wednesday, the last in Asaba before they jet out to Johannesburg for the game against South Africa.

Nigeria are top of Group of the AFCON 2019 qualifiers with nine points from four games and will seal qualification if they get a draw or beat South Africa who shocked them in Matchday One with  2-0 win at home.
