After arriving the country, new coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh has kicked off preparation for the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ahead of the game, Oliseh has invited 23 home –based professionals which is headed by Warri Wolves’ forward Gbolahan Salami, who opened scoring in the Super Eagles 2017 AFCON qualifying game against Chad in Kaduna.

The players are expected to report to the Bolton White Apartments, Abuja on Monday, August 17.

The Super Eagles will play Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on Saturday September 5 in one of the Matchday 2 games of the qualification series for Gabon 2017.

Nigeria is currently second but have the same points -three- with Group G leaders, Egypt who are on top with a larger goal difference.
