With Chris Paul unavailable, James Harden and Eric Gordon contributed 32 and 23 points respectively but were outscored by the Warriors who booked a fourth straight NBA finals ticket.
Lebron James inspired the Cleveland Cavaliers as they defeated the Boston Celtics 87-79 to win the NBA Playoffs Western Conference finals 4-3.
Lebron James was again on fire as he produced 35 points and 15 rebound with his teammates Jeff Green and JR Smith contributing 19 and 12 points respectively.
Rookie Jayson Tatum scored 24 points, while Al Harford scored 17 points but there wasn't enough help as the Celtics lost to the much experienced cavs.

Tuesday, May 22
Lebron James erupted for 44 points to help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics 111-102 in game 4 and tie the western Conference finals.
Tristan Thompson, George Hill and Kyle Korver all provided back up for Lebron with 13, 13 and 14 points respectively.
Jayson Brown had 25 points for the Celtics, rookie Jayson Tatum and Terry Rozier with 17 and 16 points but could not help prevent back to back defeats going back home for game 5.
Tuesday, May 15
Kevin Durant came up big with 37 points in game one to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 119-106 victory over the Houston Rockets.
James Harden was the top scorers for the night contributing 41 points supported by Chris Paul who also contributed 23 points, but was not enough as Klay Thompson had 28 points and Steph Curry put in 18 points to give the Warriors a 13 points victory.
Monday, May 14
Lebron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers could do nothing but admire the Boston Celtics who swept them aside 108-83 in game one of the western conference finals.
A solid team effort from the Celtics saw Marcus Morris with 21 points, Al Harford with 20 points, Jaylen Brown with 26 points and even rookie Jayson Tatum contributed 16 points.
James and Kevin Love contributed 15 and 17 points respectively for the Cavs who would hope o do better in game two.

Thursday, May 10
Rookie Jayson Tatum contributed 25 points as the Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers 114-112 to take a 4-1 lead in game 5 of the series.
Joel Embiid and Dario Saric both scored 27 points for the 76ers, but came up short by two points.
The victory means that the Celtics have progressed to the Western Conference finals where they will face Cleveland Cavaliers.
Wednesday, May 9
Golden State Warriors defeated New Orleans Pelicans 113-104 to take a 4-1 lead in the series and progress to the Eastern Conference finals where they will face the Houston Rockets.
Anthony Davis top scored for the Pelicans with 34 points but Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson all contributed 28, 24 and 23 points respectively to close out the series for the Warriors.
Houston Rockets defeated the Utah Jazz 112-102 in game 5 to take a 4-1 lead n the series and progress to the Eastern Conference finals.
Rookie Donovan Mitchell and Alec Burks had 24 and 22 points but veteran Chris Paul had a game high of 41 points to give the Rockets victory.
Tuesday, May 8
Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Toronto Raptors 123-93 to take a 4-0 win in the series and progress to the western conference final playoffs.
Lebron James and Kevin Love contributed 29 and 23 points respectively to led the Cavs as none of the Raptors could muster up to 20 points in the encounter.
Philadelphia 76ers defeated Boston Celtics 103-92 tot reduce the Celtics lead to 3-1 in the series.
Celtics Rookie Jayson Taytum again contributed 20 points but Terry Rozier fell short with just 11 points.
Trio of Dario Saric, T.J McConnell and Ben Simmons all contributed 25, 19 and 19 points to lead the 76ers to victory.
Monday, May 7
Chris Paul provided 27 points and 12 rebounds on his 33rd birthday to lead the Houston Rockets to a 3-1 lead over the Utah Jazz.
James Harden supported with 24 points to see out the Jazz even though Donovan Mitchell contributed 25 points.
The Jazz now have to win game 5 to continue any hopes of progressing to the next round.
Golden State Warriors took a 3-1 lead over the New Orleans Pelicans after a 118-92 victory in game 4.
Kevin Durant led the Warriors contributing 38 points and 9 assists, while Steph Curry supported with 23 points, Anthony Davis had 26 points and 12 rebounds but was not enough as the Pelicans must now win game 5 at the Oracle Arena.
Friday, May 4
Lebron James was again the star of the show as he contributed 43 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a comfortable 128-110 victory over the Toronto Raptors.
DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry contributed 24 and 21 points but was not enough as Kevin Love backed James up with 31 points to give the Cavs a 2-0 lead in the series.
Boston Celtics defeated Philadelphia 76ers 108-103 to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
Rookie Jayson Tatum contributed 21 points and was supported by Guard Terry Rozier who also added 20 points, while Joel Embiid dropped 20 points for the 76esrs but was not enough as the Celtics need two more wins to wrap up the series.
Wednesday, May 2
Steph Curry made his return as the Golden State Warriors defeated the New Orlean Pelicans 121-116 to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
Kevin Durant and Curry top scored for the Warriors contributing 29 and 28 points respectively, while Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday contributed 25 and 24 points to top score for the pelicans.
Game three will be played in New Orleans on Saturday, May 5.
Lebron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to 113-112 win in game one against the Toronto Raptors.
The game went into overtime after both sides were tied with 105 points each after the fourth quarter.
Raptor star player DeMar DeRozan contributed 22 points and seven rebounds as while James contributed 26 points and 13 assists for the Cavs.
Monday, April 30
Golden State Warriors defeated New Orleans Pelicans 123-101 , in the first game of the semifinal series.
Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant contributed 27 and 26 points respectively to lead the Warriors to stop Anthony Davis who scored 21 points.
Rockets saw off the Utah Jazz 110-96 to take the lead in the series.
Star player for the Rockets James Harden contributed a massive 41 points with Chris Paul also supporting with 17 points.
Rookie Donovan Mitchell and Jae Crowder contributed 21 points each for the Jazz.

Cleveland Cavaliers narrowly defeated Indiana Pacers 98-95 to take a 3-2 lead in the series.
Victor Oladipo produced 12 points and 12 rebounds but was outshone by Lebron James who produced 44 points and 10 rebounds including a last second three point to win the game for the Cavaliers.
Russell Westbrook contributed 45 points and 15 rebounds, and was backed up by Paul George who contributed 36 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Utah Jazz 107-99.
Rookie Donovan Mitchell scored 23 points but could not help as Thunder reduced the deficit to 3-2.
Houston Rockets defeated Minnesota Timberwolves 122-104, to move through to the next round after their fourth win.
James Harden with 24 points for the Rockets while Karl Anthony Towns with 23 points for the Timberwolves.
Wednesday, April 25
Defending champions Golden State Warriors are through to the next round after a 99-91 win over the San Antonio Spurs in game 5.
LaMarcus Aldridge dropped a solid 30 points and 12 rebounds for the Spurs, but Kevin Durant contributed 25 points with teammates Klay Thompson also with 24 points to see the Warriors through to the next round.
Boston Celtics took one step to the semifinals after they defeated Milwaukee Bucks 92-87 to take a 3-2 lead in the series.
Al Horford had a game high of 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Celtics while Khris Middletons 23 points was not enough as the Bucks fell five points short.
Joel Embiid posted 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 104-91 victory over the Miami Heat in game 5.
The victory means that the 76er are through to the next round.
Tuesday, April 24
Utah Jazz defeated Oklahoma City Thunder 113-96 in Game 4 to extend their lead in the series.
Rookie Donovan Mitchell contributed 33 points and 7 points and assist, to see the out the Thunder despite Paul George contributing 32 points.
Houston Rockets defeated Minnesota Timberwolves 119-100 as star players James Harden and Chris Paul contributing 36 and 25 points respectively to take a 3-1 lead in the series.
Sunday and Monday April 22&23
Lebron James scored scored 32 points along with 13 rebounds and seven assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Indiana Pacers 104-100 to win game four and tie the series 2-2.
Bradley Beal was the star man for Washington Wizards as they defeated the Toronto Raptors 106-98 in game four to tie the series 2-2.
Beal registered 31 points, while teammates John Wall also contributed 27 points for the Wizards.
Golden State Warriors will have to wait till game five to qualify for the next round; San Antonio Spurs defeated the reigning champions 103-90 to close the lead to 3-1.
Kevin Durant had 34 points, 10 rebounds and two assists but was not enough as LaMarcus Aldridge contributed a solid 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Spurs.
Rookie Donovan Mitchell contributed 22 points and 11 rebounds as the Utah Jazz defeated Oklahoma City Thunder 115-102 in game three to lead the series 2-1.
The Utah Jazz had a solid second and third quarter which eventually paid off with the score in the final quarter very close.
The Minnesota Timberwolves closed the gap with Houston Rockets after a 121-105 victory in game three.
Jimmy Butler contributed a solid 28 points and 7 rebounds only bettered by James Harden who registered 29 points.
Thursday, April 19
Golden State Warriors defeated San Antonio Spurs 110 -97 in game three of their NBA Playoff series to take a 3-0 lead.
Kevin Durant recorded 26 points nine rebounds and six assists, with Klay Thompson also contributing a solid 19 points.
The Warriors are now one game away from sealing their place in the next round.
New Orleans Pelicans took a 3-0 series lead over Portland Trail Blazers after a 119-102 victory in game three.
Power forward Anthony Davis recorded 28 points and 11 rebounds as he lead the Pelicans within one game of qualifying for the next stage.
After defeat in game 2, the Philadelphia 76ers returned to winning ways as they defeated the Miami Heat 128-108 to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Rookie Ben Simmons recorded 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the 76ers to victory, but still, need two wins to qualify for the next round.
Wednesday, April 18
Cavaliers 100 Vs Pacer 97
LeBron James was the man again for Cleveland Cavaliers, scoring 46 points and adding 12 rebounds as they bounced back to draw level on Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Play-Off series 1-1 with a 100-97 win.
Kevin Love scored 15, but ended up injured.
Victor Oladipo scored 22 for the Pacers while Myles Turner scored 18.
Thunder 95 Vs Jazz 102
In other games, rookie Donovan Mitchell scored 28 points, 13 of those in the fourth quarter to help the Utah Jazz defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder and tie their Western Conference playoff series at one win game apiece.
Russell Westbrook had 19 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds for the Thunder.

Chris Paul scored 27 points in Houston as the Rockets cruise past Minnesota Timberwolves and take a 2-0 lead in the series.
