At a launch event yesterday, Microsoft announced three new smartphones, cheapest of which is the Lumia 550.

The Lumia 550 is a budget Windows 10 smartphone sporting a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 1GB of RAM power, 8GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot for expandable memory.

On the front of the Lumia 550 is a 2-megapixel camera while there’s a 5-megapixel shooter at the back, and a 2100mAh battery.
The smartphone will go on sale from next month and should be available at all Microsoft stores across the globe.
