Team Up For Excellence: Rémy Martin celebrates the collective excellence of Obi Iyiegbu, Chairman Cubana Group

PREMIUM Cognac brand Remy Martin continues its global brand campaign capturing the essence of collaborative efforts and the success it generates.

Team Up For Excellence: Rémy Martin celebrates the collective excellence of Obi Iyiegbu, Chairman Cubana Group.

Tagged 'Team Up for Excellence', the campaign aims to emphasize that behind every individual success is a collective story of collaborators united for excellence.

The launch, which was first held on October 21 in Versailles, France 2019, was graced by celebrities like Jermaine Dupri, Tamra Simmons, Murda Beatz, and Nigeria's own Chris Ubosi (CEO Megalectric - Beat FM, Classic FM, and his collective) amongst others.

The 2021 campaign began with a collaborative campaign with multi-Grammy award-winning musical artist, Usher to celebrate the harmonious blending of two cultures of timeless excellence: Music and Cognac.

"Team Up For Excellence - The Film" highlights the cultural connection between Cognac and American music since 1917 in France and how the two have been synonymous ever since.

In bringing the Team Up for Excellence campaign to life locally in Nigeria, Remy Martin explores collaborations with those who have embodied the Remy Martin culture of excellence like Obi Iyiegbu, Chairman Cubana Group; the company behind a chain of hospitality businesses with interests in luxury real estate, Nightlife, restaurants, wine distributorship, and most recently blockchain technology, aside from the fact that he was recently voted the 2021 Man of the Year by Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora.

Remy Martin is confident that by celebrating remarkable individuals like Obi Iyiegbu, we also do not ignore the essential roles of some extraordinary characters behind these exemplary people who are their collective Team of excellence. The most significant accomplishments and daily victories are achieved thanks to our family, friends, teammates, and peers.

As aptly worded by Obi Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana himself, "If you require consistency in your workplace, make human connections with people, and the road to success won't be far from you," said Obi during an interview he had with BBC Africa.

"People with extraordinary achievements have a great team behind them…." Said Obi His Collective Team, which makes up about 25 persons are critical contributors to the growth of the Cubana empire.

At Rémy Martin, we believe that every accomplishment is shaped through teamwork with a sense of common purpose and shared passion for uniting the people who make up the house of Rémy Martin. It takes a team of masters to produce a great Cognac. Our success through history lies in the encounter and collaboration of key characters.

Remy Martin continues to search, identify and celebrate those who share the same values and beliefs in the culture of excellence.
