Vanguard reports that the suspects raped Jun Lan-Yin, who was their roommate at Morison Crescent in the Ikeja area of Lagos.

It was gathered that the suspects alongside the victim were all staff of Life Mate Furniture.

“During the investigation, the suspects were discovered to have a record of being gay at their former place of work and the company is ready to testify against them if necessary," a police source was quoted as saying.

The victim who petitioned the police alleged that he was penetrated through the anus by the suspects while he was asleep.

Following the petition written by Lan-Yin, police detectives led by the Area Commander, ACP Olasoji Akinbayo, arrested the suspects over the weekend.

The result of medical checks carried out on the victim reportedly revealed that there was penetration.

The suspects and victim were also discovered to be living in Nigeria illegally as their visas have long expired.
