The Niger Bridge which symbolizes the gateway to the southeast of Nigeria, a beacon of hope, a promise of home and progress was transformed to a site of glitz and glamour, thanks to some scintillating display of colours. The long standing architectural monument which also represents the industrious nature of the southeastern people, was lit up with LED lightings emanating different colours as well as the poignant message - “Enjoy Life Responsibly

The event commenced with a countdown by the Nigerian Breweries team, the Governor of Anambra state, as well as dignitaries from both Delta and Anambra states. After which the lights on the bridge came and the life lager theme song echoed across the River Niger.

Words on the street in Anambra and Delta, show that residents are thrilled to see the Niger Lights, as a resident who preferred to remain anonymous made the following remark- “We did not expect this but we must thank Life Lager. Our bridge has never looked as beautiful and we are very proud of this.”

Life Lager Beer which was first brewed in Onitsha, Anambra State, made from choicest grains, hops and purest waters, has consciously promoted the tradition of sharing and a heritage of progress across eastern Nigeria. A brand that has made continuous effort in showcasing the deep heritage of the Igbo people to the rest of the word.
