According to the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Jonathan Obuebite, “We, therefore, urge everyone who believes in the Almighty God to come out and thank Him, irrespective of all political differences and affiliations. We must all come together and worship God for holding and keeping the state together through the thick, thin and trying times recently faced.”

This is following Governor Seriake Dickson revelation that the state governmentcan only pay half salaries to civil servants.
