Acting President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) on Monday June 12 approved the appointment of Barrister Ismaeel Ahmed as the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Investment Programmes.

Barrister Ismaeel has served as member, Board of Trustees of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and national Chairman of the All Progressives Youth Forum (APYF).
The Kano native, a graduate of the University of Abuja, also contested for a seat in the House of Representatives in 2011.
