The Lagos State commissioner for Information, Aderemi Ibirogba, has announced that the usual restriction of movement on every last Saturday of the month to enable the residents of the state clean their environment will not hold tomorrow, April 25.

The state government said the 7am to 10 am restriction was lifted due to the National Common Entrance examinations holding on Saturday, April 25.
The commissioner made the announcement in Ikeja on Friday, April 23.
He said the 7am to 10 am restriction was lifted due to the National Common Entrance examinations holding on the same day.
Ibirogba however said the restriction does not translate to total cancellation of the sanitation exercise.
“This suspension of restriction of movement is for our children writing the Common Entrance Examination who would need to move around. The restriction time from their homes to their examination centres. We, however, appeal to residents to still observe the period and use it to clean their environment for their wellbeing and that of the state,’’ he said.
