Obasanjo says CNM now has 3 million members

He said this while speaking at the 14th annual lecture of the Women in Management, Business, and Public Service.
Obasanjo officially joined the movement in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Thursday, February 1, 2018.
The former President became a member of CNM after he wrote an open letter criticising President Buhari.

Obasanjo gives condition
Speaking further, OBJ said that he will resign from the group if they start dabbling into politics.
According to him, CNM is reaching out to people in the grassroot across Nigeria.
He said “The Coalition for Nigeria Movement is penetrating to the grassroots. And presently there are over three million members who had registered.”

In January 2018, the Coalition for Nigeria Movement was launched at the Yar'Adua Centre, Abuja with former Osun State governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and former Cross River State governor, Donald Duke present.
