Ex-Senator reported dead

Survived by a wife and three children, the late Bamayi chaired the Senate Committee on foreign contracts verification while he was in the senate between 1999 and 2003.

According to a report by Premium Times, Bamaiyi, was pronounced dead in the early hours of Saturday, April 30, 2016 after a protracted illness.

Confirming his death, incumbent Deputy Senate Leader, Bala Ibn Na’Allah, prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed lawmaker and also condoled the family as well as the people of Kebbi State over his demise .
