Readers say Governor Ambode's dedication will prevent another building from collapsing in Lagos state

The recent collapse of a five-storey building has prompted the governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode, to set up a five-man committee to examine Urban and Regional Planning Law.

Lagos suspends construction of new Lekki Gardens estate

On Tuesday, March 8, 2016, a five storey building, belonging to Lekki Gardens, collapsed.

In a bid to prevent another tragedy, the governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode, has taken the following steps;
