Women prefer bearded men for long-term relationships, study shows
Full beards seem to play a serious role when women are deciding if they should enter in a long-term relationship with a man.

If you do not, the hashtag was basically a dedication to men with full beards who were simply too fine for women to ignore.
Well, apparently, women find these men so attractive and also associate the beards with an advanced level of maturity.
According to a study which involved 8, 520 women and ran by the University of Queensland, Australia, it was found that women find men with little or no beards attractive only for flings and short term, sex-driven relationships.

Men with full beards were on the other hand found ideal for long-term relationships.
The researchers asked the women to look at photos of men and rank them in order of their physical attractiveness.
“Our findings suggest that beardedness may be attractive when judging long-term relationships as a signal of intrasexual formidability and the potential to provide direct benefits to females,” comments Dr.Barnaby Dixson, the lead researcher.
The bearded look appears to be associated with perceptions of masculinity, aggressiveness, and maturity.
