This teacher had her pupils walk her down the aisle

In a beautiful, heart-warming gesture of love, Kinsey French, a teacher of kids with Down Syndrome, invited them all to her wedding.

What makes French's gesture sweeter and more thoughtful is the fact that all the pupils, students of Christian Academy Rock Creek, Louiseville, Kentucky, had a medical condition - Down Syndrome.

This amazing gesture made French a darling of the Internet, and it also melts our hearts and makes us believe in humanity again.

Speaking with Kentucky media house, WLKY, shortly after her June 2016 wedding, the special education teacher says,

“They were like family to me. They were my first class and they’ve been my only class and so I knew I couldn’t have a special day without them.”

The kids were all invited, and turned up at the wedding as flower girls and ring bearers, leading their teacher down the aisle.

Later, there was a party for the students with lots of fun, dancing and eating. They were even included in the Garter toss.

They later said that their favorite part of the party, though, was when the food was served, and the dancing began.
