How strong would Deadpool be in real life?

That's the burning question we ask in Superfit, our latest video series that explores how movie and comic book characters' powers could fit into the real world.

Deadpool presents a particular challenge. The mouthy mercenary, played famously by Ryan Reynolds, doesn't technically have any special abilities to augment his strength and speed.

His sole power is to heal from wounds that would kill a normal person, which came from an experimental treatment to cure his deadly cancer.

He was already a skilled fighter when he took on the responsibilities to fight bad guys and crack one-liners.

Still, we see Reynolds-as-Deadpool performing multiple superfeats of strength throughout Deadpool and Deadpool 2. He kicks out a car door in the middle of the highway, and jumps higher than any normal person could to perform an advanced martial arts maneuver, to name just two of his superhuman stunts.

So what gives? We asked some experts to find the answer.
