Julien found photos of Paris that were taken between 1871 and 1968. He then decided to photograph the same sites in the photos from the same angle.
Here are some pictures from his book titled 'Paris, Fenêtres sur l’Histoire'.

As these historical photographs are incorporated into todays settings, windows to the past are opened as we are plunged into the depths of time, merging past as present in one fluid moment.
