Presidential candidate launches campaign for celebrity chefs

Hilary Clinton, who may be America's first female president, has launched a food campaign for her presidential campaign.

The Democratic presidential nominee has launched an initiative focused on food, which she calls ‘Chefs for Hillary’.

Under the platform, the celebrity chefs share recipes that they’ve developed for her campaign. The whole idea is to encourage voters, supporters and volunteers to use the recipes.

The first set of recipes are now available on Pinterest. They include dishes from chefs who helped to launch the campaign.

Some of these patriotic recipes include Dominique Ansel’s democratic blueberry cookies; Mario Batali’s grilled swordfish; Katie Lee’s patriotic penne pie; Rebecca Charles’ liberty lobster roll and others.

Other culinary experts will add more recipes to the list in the next few months. Voters are encouraged to share their recipes using the hashtag ChefsForHillary.
