Teen stars are Bold, fierce on cover of W magazine

The three teenagers who have been named young Hollywood's next up-and-coming "It" girls are fresh and modern, with dark lips and angst abounding on the "Dream Teens" cover, which features the trio photographed by Willy Vanderperre.

The theme of the styling involved some major 90s vibe, although Smith wasn’t even born until year 2000, with shaggy, tousled hair, skinny chokers and barely visible eye makeup to create an edgy, doe-eyed Chloe Sevigny feel.

However, rising style star Smith, who was named an official Chanel ambassador only yesterday, was involved in the punk-chic look: “I was in my bathroom yesterday and saw some safety pins on the counter," she told the glossy of her adorned hair, "I was just like, ‘Let me stab a dread real quick.’ When I did it, I was, like, ‘Oh, this is dope.’ ”
